Evidence: My motivators

Studies of successful individuals have found that there are a few motivators that
guide their career and job choices, and make working an enjoyable and successful
experience for them. Below you will find a list with the motivators that are most
commonly mentioned by high-achieving people. For this evidence you have to
organize them in order of importance from 1 (the most important) to 10 (the least
important) and write a composition expressing how they have been part of your
professional development. Recycle the grammar and vocabulary you have learned
in this learning activity. (Example: I feel variety is the most important factor in my
motivation. I don’t like doing repetitive things. In my current job I have learned how
to use Photoshop and how to market different products online. I am becoming very
good at it and now I am able to teach others.)

I believe that lifestyle is the most important of all because it is where our tastes,
dislikes and the way we prefer to take things are defined; therefore it is part of our
identity. I like my work as public server in INPEC so I make it part of my lifestyle.
The interest for me is second because it depends on the desire we have to do
things; the more I am interested in something better and more often I want to do it.
Safety is a very important factor because in this way we feel good about what we
do and we have the conviction that we are doing it in the best way. In my current
job I feel most of the time with conviction of what I do and I pass it on to others. I
also consider independence as important because it allows us to have the
certainty that we are capable of doing any work for ourselves and in this way feel
capable. In my current job I like team work but I prefer to do things by myself.
I like the variety because it makes me never get bored of what I do, in my work I
like the variety of position in which I have to rotate, this makes it don’t become a
routine.
Relationships are considered an important factor in some cases as it requires the
support of someone else to develop a job as my job, when I need to ask for the
support of a partner, but as long as we know how to do our things individually
correctly this will not be so necessary.
Sometimes I don’t consider the challenge important in my work, usually I don’t like
to feel challenged or pressured, I prefer to have the simple initiative of doing
things. There was a time when I worked in a company that owed motorcycles and I
had to meet a certain number of monthly sales, I liked my job and I worked hard to
reach the requirements. Just as the challenge, I don’t consider competition too
much important, I believe that if you are good at what you do, you won’t have to
worry too much about anything else.
I know that money is paramount to have what we need but I don’t find it too
relevant because I prefer to feel good about what I do even if I'm not being very
well paid. In my work it is very obvious that the partners do improper things to earn
some extra money and this example has helped me not to be dazzled by money.
As money, I don’t find satisfaction to be highly recognized, I prefer to continue
doing what I like and what I should do in the best possible way.
