Learning activity 4

Evidence: My motivators

Studies of successful individuals have found that there are a few motivators that
guide their career and job choices, and make working an enjoyable and successful
experience for them. Below you will find a list with the motivators that are most
commonly mentioned by high-achieving people. For this evidence you have to
organize them in order of importance from 1 (the most important) to 10 (the least
important) and write a composition expressing how they have been part of your
professional development. Recycle the grammar and vocabulary you have learned
in this learning activity. (Example: I feel variety is the most important factor in my
motivation. I don’t like doing repetitive things. In my current job I have learned how
to use Photoshop and how to market different products online. I am becoming very
good at it and now I am able to teach others.)

Otherwise it would be

to be recognized in what you do and achieve.

5. Challenges make me feel motivated, they help me to fight with other people in
different areas of life.
Being 6. competent in what I do guarantees my reputation in all areas of my life,
perhaps being competent does not guarantee me fame or money but admiration.
Being 7. independent is sometimes good, and helps as a motivator, you know what
you have, what you can invest, and sometimes you can reach the goal in solitude.
Having 8. security in everything you do helps you to undertake, do, get involved in
something, have the leadership to face a situation.
There should be a 9. variety of ideas, resources, and concepts in everything you
do, as repeating the same thing would make things boring.
10. Money is the means to cover expenses but personally not my great motivation,
I prefer to be happy with how little I have to have too much money and not be
happy with what I carry.
