The LR portal serves as a source of information ranging from teaching and learning materials that can be
used and apply by the teachers working in the public and private schools.

I learned it through my colleagues at work and with the help of social media websites.

What is your impression in utilizing the LR Portal?

The LR portal itself is very easy to access provided that you have registered. The LR portal has sources
for teaching and learning from kindergarten to grade 12 which is very impressive.

In what situations did you utilize the LR Portal resources?

If the school lacks the information and sources that I need in some subject areas that I teach then I
usually use the LR portal to search for teaching resources.

What resources do you wish to find in the LR Portal?

All resources that is relevant in the teaching-learning process and useful for students.

2. What are the probable aspects/causes that affect your utilization of the Learning Resource (LR)
Portal?

The most probable causes that affects my utilization of the LR portal would be the lack of teaching-
learning resources that I needed for other subjects and specializations. Some of the resources like for
the subject of Technology and Livelihood Education is lacking in terms of variety of learning resources
for other specializations. It takes a bit of an effort to find certain learning resources that fits in the topic
that you are going to teach. The inadequacy of access for a stable internet and data is also a factor for
me and most teachers who work in the rural and far-flung areas.

With your exposure to the LR portal, what features of the LR Portal do you find useful and needs
improvement?

The features of LR portal is very useful and can be accessed easily. The LR portal need to add more
resources since the LR portal lacks some information that I need.

What are your reasons for using/not using the LR Portal?

I use the LR portal for utilization of learning materials that is hard to obtain through physical means.

What sets apart the LR portal compared to other web-based repository of resources (Web
sites/apps)?

Compared to other web-based repository of resources, the LR portal serves as the official source of
learning, teaching, and professional development for the teachers belonging to the Department of
Education and private schools.
Based on your experience, what do you think is needed in terms skills, tools, practices to fully utilize
the LR Portal?

Knowing how to use both the computer and internet is really needed since we are living in the 21 st
century.
