LESSON 1: LEARNING RESOURCE MAPS FOR

DISTANCE LEARNING

ACTIVITY 1

The DepEd Memorandum on Suggested Strategies in Implementing LDMs

for SY 2020-2021 included the Learning Resources (LR) Map as a guide in
selecting the appropriate Distance LDM to be implemented in
Schools/Divisions. Study this map and answer the following questions:

1. Based on the map, what resources should you have in order to

implement the LDM adopted by your School/Division?
Answer:
The resources I should have to implement the LDM adopted by
my School/Division are the following:
-Online and printed SLM
-Online activities/exercises
-offline digital SLM
-Activity sheets
-SLM-Based-video Activity sheets
-MELCs-Aligned Videos Activity sheets
-any other learning resource

2. Do you have the complete resources for the Distance LDM needed in
class? If the LRs are not complete or not available, what steps will
you take to make these available? What are your options to
substitute these missing LRs?
Answer:
No, If the LRs are not complete or not available, the steps that I will
take to make these available is to search on other Learning
Resources available online in LRMDS, DepEd Sites or other free and
accessible learning resources online. Other options to substitute
these missing LRs are the textbooks/LMS and Teacher-made
videos/modules may supplement the required learning resources or
each DLDM.

3. What support will you need to maximize the use of the two
DepEd-sanctioned LR Portals? From whom can you get this
support?
Answer:
The support I will need to maximize the use of the two DepEd-
sanctioned LR Portals are: LR school leader or technical
assistance in case got difficulty with the use of the LR portals and
to the parents/ guardians who will serve as the facilitator in this
times of pandemic.
Based on your evaluation of the materials, are they appropriate to the level
and characteristics of learners? Are there learners who might be
disadvantaged by the materials (based on reading ability, level of learning
independence, level of household support, distance)? What adjustments
will you make in terms of the LRs?

Answer: Based on my evaluation of the materials, they are appropriate

to the level and characteristics of learners, however, let us not take
forgotten that every pupil is a unique individual. But at least, we have
variety of learning resources to use based on individual’s needs.

ACTIVITY 2

In your LAC Session, share and discuss your answers from the previous
activity. What support can you provide to your colleagues and what support
can you get from them in terms of LRs? Take note of the insights that you
can gather from your colleagues.

Answer:
I have shared discussion with my co-teacher teaching also
the same grade level and the support we can give to each other is
one-camaraderie which we need most in times of new work to
be accomplish in a very short period o time. Next, technical
support and guidance by our tech savvy and knowledgeable
person/s in LR or any Learning Resources especially with the
use of advance technology in New normal. Ensuring e have
access in every learning portals we need.

LESSON 2: ACCESSING LEARNING RESOURCES FROM

DepEd PORTALS

you have not registered yet, follow the LR Portal User Guide to guide
you in your registration process. Alternatively, seek assistance from
any of your colleagues or your IT personnel in your school, district, or
division. You may also coordinate with your LAC Leader and/or Coach.
To understand the portal better, you may watch the LR Portal Video
Tutorial located in the resources of this Course.

-WE HAVE ACCESS TO LR PORTAL

In your next LAC Session, share and discuss your answers to the
questions in Activity 1.

1. Explore how you can help and support each other in using the LR
portals. Jot down the insights and helpful information regarding the use of
the LR portals.
Share your insights:

Answer:
I think, the improvements I still need to make in my
developed materials is:- the Illustrations

ACTIVITY 4 (Submit a copy of your Outputs to your LAC Leader)

Share and discuss your answers to the questions in Activities 1, 2, and 3 in
your next LAC Session. Jot down insights and information that can be
useful to you in choosing the appropriate LRs.

ANSWER-Shared and discussed with co-teachers teaching the same

grade level.

Submit your LR assessments with your reflection on the exercises to

your LAC Leader. Ensure that you keep a copy for yourself.

REFLECTION:

Through reading the Module 3B we are able to analyze the

DepEd Memorandum on Suggested Strategies in Implementing LDMs

for SY 2020-2021 included the Learning Resources (LR) Map as a guide

in selecting the appropriate Distance LDM to be implemented in

Schools/Divisions. We are also able to use the Rapid Assessment of

Learning Resources to assess LRs coming from LR PORTAL / DepEd

commons, other LR (Learning Resources) and assess even our own

created LR.
