ACTIVITY DESIGN

I. Title of Activity: Learning Action Cell (LAC) on Strategies that are Responsive to
Learners with Disabilities, Giftedness and Talents

II. Rationale

In the recent released of the Department of Education, DepEd Memorandum

No. 004 Series 2022 which is the RPMS for the School Year 2021-2022, it is evident
that on the Objective 9 of the RPMS for Teachers state that there should be a
designing, adapting and implementing of teaching strategies that are responsive to
learners with disabilities, giftedness and talents. So, to achieve this objective in the
RPMS, there is a need to conduct a Learning Action Cell (LAC) to review the above-
mentioned objective.
The teachers will be then be able to come up with the lesson plan that applies
such strategies for the attachment of it in the RPMS portfolio for the school year.

III. Objectives: The objectives of this activity are the following:

1. let the teachers know the teaching strategies that are responsive to
learners with disabilities, giftedness and talents;
2. engage the teachers in applying the strategies for such kind of learners;
and
3. to be able to make a lesson plan that applies the strategies that are
responsive to learners with disabilities, giftedness and talents.
