Dear Sir/Madam 

Warm Greetings. 

After  four  years  of  a  challenging,  yet  fun‐filled  life  of  an  IITian,  the  one  realization  that  I  can 
make out at this juncture is that consulting is the best career path for me due to the promise of 
growth, diverse challenges and the stress on people and communication. As a consulting firm is 
based on the premise of diversity and used as a great problem solving tool, I trust it is the best 
place to seek the kind of attributes I want to develop. I have also come to believe that I have 
developed a strong set of skills that will help me to fit into a consultant’s shoes. 
 
Completing a major part of my schooling in an international environment in Saudi Arabia made 
me  realize  at  a  very  early  stage  of  my  life  that  I  enjoyed  meeting  new  people  from  diverse 
ethnic  backgrounds  and  I  feel  the  cultural  exchange  played  a  vital  role  in  shaping  my 
personality.  Besides  a  strong  academic  record,  my  analytical  skills  are  further  demonstrated 
through  scholastic  achievements  like  two  research  publications  and  the  prestigious  ‘Summer 
Undergraduate Research Award’. From participating in a play for the first time in my life as a 
fresher in IIT to receiving the ‘Outstanding Contribution to Dramatics’ by the Institute four years 
later,  I  feel  I  have  come  a  long  way.  Each  new  play  meant  working  with  a  different  group  of 
confident and fun‐loving people, learning from them and making some long lasting friendships. 
My strong affinity towards leadership and team work is also evident through various positions 
of repute and responsibility held throughout my academic career – be it leading a hostel of 500 
as the House Secretary or organizing North India’s biggest cultural and technical festivals in the 
capacity of a Coordinator. 
 
I  am  highly  impressed  by  Parthenon’s  entrepreneurial  approach  towards  strategic  consulting. 
Sharing  client  risk  and  being  accountable  to  the  client  through  consulting  for  equity  is  truly 
commendable. Parthenon’s rare two‐case model maximizes my exposure to global businesses 
and is best suited for my desire to learn how they operate and succeed. All the consultants at 
the  Parthenon  Pre‐Placement  talk  appeared  humble,  kind  and  fun  loving.  The  nicety  that 
Parthenon  seeks  in  its  employees  was  clearly  visible.  The  small  size  of  Parthenon’s  Mumbai 
office  and  yet  the  huge  clientele  it  caters  to  across  Asia  means  increased  responsibility  and 
consequently more experience for me thus making it my foremost choice for a consulting firm. 
 
I hope that you will give me a chance to be a part of the Parthenon family and contribute to the 
continuing success of the group.
