A. Capstone Project Title:

Capability and Use of Home made Solar Panels in a Single Household on Marilo,
Bulacan
B. Rationale:
Our generation the consumption or use of electricity is excess, but not
anymore because there is a technology that helps to save the so much use of
electricity and that is what called solar panel. Solar panel is an innovated
technology that makes electricity through the help of solar energy from the sun, it
converts the solar energy from the sun to electricity to enable powered some
things that need electricity. It will helps the consumer of electricity to pay less
expensive to Electric Bill from Manila Electric Company and also less expensive
to buy a already done solar panel.

C. Research Question/s:
a. Do you think this kind of technology is reliable and powerful enough for a single
household appliances?
b. Do you also think that your Home made Solar panel is cheaper than the already
done solar panel and also to the accustomed Electric Company Bill?
c. How much the total electric power gain a day by using 8 solar cell?

D. Hypothesis:
Null Hypothesis:
Average amount of electricity generated by solar panel is greater than or equal
to average daily electric consumption. (Sustainable)
Alternative Hypothesis:
Average amount of electricity generated by solar panel is less than to daily
electric consumption. (Not Sustainable)

E. Engineering Goals:
The objective of this research is to know the reliability and validity of Home
made Solar Panel and also the big difference between to our usual monthly electric
 bill payments compare to the use of solar panels.
F. Expected Outcomes:
The customer or consumer would rather to use a solar panel than pay an
expensive to the electric power distribution company.
G. Procedures: Step by step of constructing our own Solar Panel
1. Part 1 : Assembling the pieces
2. Part 2 : Connecting the cells
3. Part 3: Building the Panel Box
4. Part 4: Wiring the Solar Panel
5. Part 5: Sealing the Box
6. Part 6: Mounting the Solar Panel

H. Risk and Safety:

First be careful handling the Solar Cells during the process of building of
Solar Panel because it easily break, always make sure all the equipment to be used
are legit to avoid having problems during the process of the project and in the
installation process make sure the type and size of ladders or scaffolding are safe
and fall protection for rooftop work and do not forget the personal protective
equipment for each installer.

I. Data Analysis Plan:

The method that will be used in this research is the experimental research to gather
data for us to know how many watts does the Solar Panel produce per day.
