SBF3023 PLANT PHYSIOLOGY

MINI PROJECT
(A) Title
Organic fertilizer
(B) Research questions/ Problem statements
This project is conducted to solve students’ problems especially for Biology students as they
encountered a delay during conducting experiment that is related to plant growth.
(C) Objectives
 To produce fertilizers that accelerate plant growth
 To save environment

(D) Hypothesis
The better the ingredients in the compost, the faster the plant grow
(E) Significance of the project
The process of composting turns organic waste into a value-added, nutrient rich product.
Diverting organic waste from the waste stream reduces pressure on landfill systems. Compost
can be used as a soil amendment to improve physical, chemical and biological soil properties
for uses such as food production or landscaping. Compost is a valuable fertilizer for food
production, used both at home in your garden or at major farms in your region.
