PROCEDURE IN CLEANING THE ROOM

(upon check-out of guest)

1. Remind guest to forward the keys and t.v. remote control to the front desk.
2. Check the towel, lines, pillow, blanket, glass, pitcher another hotel property
if visible, if in case there is damage or lost of such things inform
immediately the front desk.
3. Turn off the aircon, unplug the t.v. and turn off the lights.
4. Open the window and doors to release the unwanted odors.
5. Get the pillow case and put the pillow under the sun for sanitation.
6. If there’s an extra bed have it also sanitize by putting under the heat of the
sun.
7. Place the towel dry under the heat of the sun.
8. Put together the lines, blanket pillow case and towel at the pantry folded
properly.
9. Lift chair and place over the bed and the small table.
10. Throw the garbage. Place it in the black plastic for proper disposal.
11. Dusting the walls and wiping the table and windows and clean aircon
screen.
12. Sweep the floor.
13. Get lines and other things, garbage plastic, soap, blanket, towel, pillow
case, toilet paper and other things needed at the front desk.

16. Mopping the floor and let it dry. (never use AIRCON as DRYER)
17. When Dry Close the window and door.
18. Always have a checklist for proper guidance.
ROOM ATTENDANT/ HOUSEKEEPING DUTIES and
REPONSIBILITES

1. Greeting guests and responding to queries.


2. Changing bed lines and making beds.
3. Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities such as soap, toilet
papers, garbage bag and mat.
4. Sweeping and mopping the floors.
5. Vacuuming carpets when necessary.
6. Dusting and polishing furniture and walls when needed.
7. Emptying trash containers and ashtrays.
8. Cleaning public area, such as corridors and lobby.
9. Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs.
10. Updating status of guest rooms on front desk.
11. Updating status of guest rooms on front desk.
12. Assist to guest regarding the Keys and T.V. Remote control to be
endorsed to the front desk.
13. Informing the front desk regarding the status of cleaning supplies.
14. Wash mat and hang.
15. Wash Lines, towel and pillow case when necessary or if urgent needs.
16. Follow House Rules Always.
17. Strictly follow the procedure in cleaning the Room.
18. Endorsement to next shift should be followed always. If no RA/HK
endorsement to Front desk is advice.
19. Always log in and Log out for proper documentation.
20. Always use required uniform.
21. Proper folding of used lines to the pantry.
FRONT DESK DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform office administration and clerical duties.


2. Operate switchboard and answer and transfer calls.
3. Take messages and communicate to appropriate employees and guest.
4. Greet visitors and escort them to appropriate office or person.
5. Respond to visitor’s questions professionally and courteously.
6. Sort and distribute incoming mails and handle outgoing mails.
7. Place outgoing calls as needed.
8. Draft, review and proofread office documents and posting at books.
9. Perform basic data entry when needed.
10. Order and stock office supplies and housekeeping supplies.
11. Operate and maintain office machines, including telephone WIFI and
others.
12. Maintain reception area clean and organized.
13. Ensure in compliance with company rules and regulations.
14. In charge in releasing lines to room attendant/ housekeeping with proper
recording and inventory.
15. Responsible in informing the laundry hub for pick-up of used linen and
acceptance of clean lines from the laundry.
16. Responsible for the acceptance of guest.
17. Responsible for the acceptance reservation of guest.
18. Receive payment of guest/and reservation deposit.
19. Assist in issuing guest keys and passes, and employees ID cards.
20. Responsible for the log in and log out of employees.
