INSTRUCTIONS FOR TANK INSPECTIONS

Coating Condition is defined as follows:

Conditon with only minor spor rusting affecting not more than 20% of areas under consideration, eg. on a
Good deck transverse, side transverse, on the total area of platings and stifeners on the longitudinal structure
between these components, etc.

Local breakdown at edges of stiffeners and weld connections and/or light rusting over 20% or more of areas
Fair
under consideration.

Conditon with general breakdown of caoating over 20% or more of areas or hard scale at 0% or more of
Poor
areas under consideration.
