CHAIIM Foundation
Restoring & Reinstating survivors of Human Trafficking -
One Life at a Time

CHAIIM Foundation, a non-profit organisation registered under

the Maharashtra Trust Act 1950, is an NGO working with human
trafficking survivors to help them re-integrate back to society.
Established in 2013, it works with hundreds of women to provide them
with vocational skills and income generation opportunities. CHAIIM
Foundation has established its own humanitarian clothing brand with a
clientele in Europe and India. Every garment under the CHAIIM label is
manufactured by a survivor of human trafficking and all proceeds from
sales of these items goes towards the restoration of their lives.

CHAIIM Foundation is on the lookout for corporate partners to

help conduct a garment exhibition at their premises. The purpose of
this exhibition is to provide an income generation opportunity to the
women survivors who will be present to sell the garments
manufactured by them. Additionally, it has been seen that such
exhibitions increases awareness among employees about the cause of
human trafficking which is alarmingly high in Maharashtra, Karnataka,
& Tamil Nadu.

Title: 1 day on-campus fashion exhibition of a humanitarian

clothing brand for the employees.

USP: All garments/accessories are handmade by women who

are human trafficking survivors. All proceeds from the sale goes
towards their upliftment and self-sustenance.

Requirements from the corporate organisation:

a. Provision of an open space along with tables/chairs (cafeteria,

meeting room, corridor) which receives large footfalls from its
employees.

b. Communication of the cause and exhibition details to their

employees.

a. Facilitate the setup of the exhibition area along with the

beneficiaries.

b. Provision of communication materials to the corporate POC

for cascading to their employees.

c. Travel & Logistic arrangements for the beneficiaries and

exhibits.
