I remember the ocean speaking

I remember the changing leaves
I remember the warm fire

I remember the falling snow
I remember our moments

Things I said at 1 AM
Things I clearly remember
How many times I’ve looked above
Stars shining bright
Waves quietly ashore
Feet in the sand
Saying how much I feel
Only for the waves to hear

Little Lotte asked

“Where is home?”
And I undoubtedly said
“It is where your heart belongs”

Silver moonlight
Reflects upon your eyes
A silver glimmer
They say gold is precious
But i beg to differ

Dance with me
Forget the world
Forget what they said
Forget all they did
Dance with me
Under the moonlight

Let them understand

They’ve failed

Leaves change color

They are ephemeral
They don’t die
They return to the earth
And are reborn again
We change like them
We’re fragile creatures
We are ephemeral

Like the everchanging leaves

In the colors of seasons

Dancing at midnight
Mesmerizing eyes
Your harboring feelings
My heart beats for them
In every lifetime
A space in my heart

The wind was whispering

Of how the sun loved
So much the moon
So I asked the sun
And he answered

She makes me swoon

Sweet breezes
Salty water
Sun kissed sand
The sun shines bright
As do your eyes

where beauty is beyond measure
Take me to places
where nature flowers

Of all the people in the world

I was never the most intriguing
Head in a book and lost in the sky
I was never one for actions
I knew only how to love with words
Maybe it was my own fault
For being so contradicting

That it all had to end

Why do you fear emotions?

I don’t want to get hurt
Why don’t you open up?
I’m scared of what’ll happen
Try, for me please
But it might end badly
But it might work
You don’t know that
And neither do you
You deserve everything
Doesn’t feel like it
You need to take the risk
Or you might not find happiness
Don’t worry I’ll be there for you

You are ice and fire

That we all desire
This feeling that we must
And can not help but trust
Oh Nature how I feel
That all of this is real

On that day my soul grew standstill

The icy wind made me shiver
The blue sky and the frozen river
The high clouds and the storks
All so reassuring
Quiet moments pacifying

Yearning for the past

The sky is full of clouds

As are our heads with thoughts
The seas are bright and blue
As the sky reflects them all

Seven day I have waited

For your words
Seven weeks I have waited
For your smile
Seven years I have waited
For this morning

Seven lifetimes I will wait

To be with you again

Sweet roses
Sweet souls
Rose petals
Soul siblings

Even the most beautiful flower crown

That I try to build can’t contest
The halo of stars around your head

When it’s quiet
And when it’s not
But time passes

For we consume what we adore

Slowly, take our time

Breathe gently, slowly
Disguised in agony
Take your time, no hurries
Healing takes time
No paradigms

Yesterday I dreamed of love,

Yesterday I dreamed of peace

And yet here I sit alone

Without answers for my mind
Or solutions to my desires
While I slowly feel that pain
Of losing my mind

Of fading away

Memories of the past

Snowflakes of Summer
Quickly contrast

Dividing reality
Mind askew
Such is the duality

Joy is full
But never a spoonful
Of happiness is enough

Life is young
Troubled and unsung

Your name in all my poems

Love letters in my pocket
Tender kisses
Moments apart
And still my mind
Is head over hills with you

Day and night were wishful
But so were the stars
People looked at the brightest flame
They laughed and talked
Basking in the warm sunlight
Happy for themselves
People gazed at the stars
Wondering of their unique flames
Questioning how it was possible
That they were so many and so far away
But the one that kept us alive was ignored
Night never feared but welcomed us

It was there when no one else was

It gave us memories
It gave us freedom

Was yesterday
Forgotten
Were the words
We spoke

Like the sun you are

From the moon you’ll be
And who’s to say
That whatever’s against us
Even stands a chance

When the cold came

I searched
When the skies lit up
I was dazed
When it became dark
I remained
When all made sense

But still I waited

Even as I gave my tears

Back to the Moon

Haunted dreams
Long midnights
Rain from the sky
The dream felt so real
It’s hard to breathe
I’ve tried to chase you
Wherever you went
Turns out

My heart’s made of glass

If this soul would die tomorrow

My love for you would drown in disgrace
‘Cause I don’t remember being this happy
But I can’t tell you that yet

It’s strange how it all begun

Cold moments and howling winds
I find it simple, you don’t
It’s serene inside
But I find peace in the rain

No sounds
Faux smile and laugh
Elegant lie
Golden crowns
Survived
No cries
Living on

At first the door was closed

Then love came along
I couldn’t help it
I had to give up the key

No crying and no tears
I want to go on my own
I want to hear your voice
Whispering that somehow
I will be missed
