mission

a) To create Awareness about Menstruation and use and disposal of hygienic and affordable
and eco-friendly sanitary napkins by the underprivileged women and
b) To empower these women by creating employment for them by selling these pads in the
slums at a profit.
c) To involve today’s youth including boys for taking initiatives to change current attitudes
towards menstruation.
d) To impart the students an experience of facilitating a business with a social motive.

Mission and intro

1. Awareness Creation :
a. To create awareness among underprivileged women in slums about the natural process of
Menstruation and provide them with affordable eco-friendly sanitary pads.
b. Create awareness among residents of Vimannagar housing societies about the plight of
underprivileged women and convince them to contribute for the underserved to improve
their quality of living.

2. Employment generation / income growth :


a) To increase the income generationof already employed women of Udaan 2018 through
B2B transaction.

BRIEF ABOUT THE NGO: Spherule Foundation works primarily to bring deep-rooted sustainable
change in people's lives, vision is to create an equal, just and sustainable society. They are working
towards ending injustice of poverty collaborating with marginalized communities for awareness and
development.

Their current social initiative is Bleed with Pride which talks about Menstruation as natural process as
breathing is and it's not a taboo, disease, sin, curse or a secret. It’s a power to create, nurture and
transform. By rejecting or shaming menstruation, people are rejecting creative force of life itself. It’s
inhuman to isolate our young girls and women on name of Menstruation. Spherule Foundation believes
that no one should go without menstrual care and have launched India’s most affordable yet world class
Feminine Hygiene Product(Sanitary napkins) .They are providing Sanitary napkins free of cost in slums ,
Government Schools, Hospitals ,Construction sites, Villages and Rural areas to make people aware of the
cause.
