Group 4's project explored expanding discs in a single plane. The initial model was an expanding frisbee that could change shape from a compact disc to an expanded disc. Through testing different processes, the group developed a final model of interconnected expanding discs that could collapse into a compact storage bin. The project was part of a first year architecture studio exploring reconfigurable designs.
