FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI AMALAN PENGAJARAN BERKESAN

PROGRAM PENDIDIKAN INKLUSIF MURID BERKEPERLUAN KHAS DI


KELANTAN

ABSTRAK

Pengenalan: Program Pendidikan Inklusif adalah satu program untuk Murid


Berkeperluan Khas belajar bersama murid normal yang lain. Pelaksanaan Program
Pendidikan Inklusif Murid Berkeperluan Khas sering dilihat menimbulkan bebanan
kepada guru mengajar iaitu wujud masalah komunikasi antara guru dan murid serta
tingkah laku murid yang menyebabkan guru tidak mampu melakukan amalan
pengajaran secara berkesan. Terdapat bias guru dan labelling menjadikan proses
pengajaran tidak berlaku dengan adil. Kajian ini dijalankan bertujuan untuk melihat
faktor yang mempengaruhi amalan pengajaran berkesan Program Pendidikan Inklusif
Murid Berkeperluan Khas di Kelantan. Metode: Kajian ini merupakan kajian tinjauan
menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensi
menggunakan Statistical Package for Social Science versi 22. Seramai 132 orang guru
telah dipilih secara rawak mudah sebagai sampel kajian daripada 152 populasi guru
Program Pendidikan Inklusif di Kelantan bagi menjawab soal selidik. Soal selidik ini
diadaptasi daripada Intrinsic Motivation Inventory dan Amalan Pengajaran Berkesan
serta disesuaikan mengikut bidang Murid Berkeperluan Khas dengan disahkan oleh
lima orang pakar rujuk. Analisis yang digunakan ialah min, sisihan piawai, Ujian T
serta regresi linear berganda. Keputusan: Hasil dapatan kajian mendapati tahap
amalan pengajaran berkesan, tahap kompetensi, tahap autonomi dan tahap keterkaitan
guru PPI di Kelantan adalah tinggi. Dapatan kajian juga mendapati hanya 1.5% guru
di Kelantan yang mempunyai sijil Pilihan Intervensi Tambah Opsyen dalam bidang
Pendidikan Khas. Keputusan ujian T juga menunjukkan tiada perbezaan amalan
pengajaran guru Program Pendidikan Inklusif berdasarkan faktor jantina. Hasil
analisis regresi, faktor yang menyumbang peratusan terbesar terhadap amalan
pengajaran berkesan ialah faktor keterkaitan guru. Kesimpulan: Fokus mesti diberi
kepada keterkaitan guru untuk meningkatkan keupayaan guru mengajar dengan lebih
berkesan. Implikasi kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa kompetensi, autonomi dan
keterkaitan berupaya menggambarkan motivasi intrinsik guru yang mengajar di kelas
inklusif. Akhir sekali, guru yang mampu meluangkan lebih masa untuk membina
hubungan yang bermakna bersama murid berupaya mengekalkan amalan pengajaran
yang berkesan.
THE INFLUENCING FACTORS OF EFFECTIVE TEACHING PRACTICES
IN INCLUSIVE EDUCATION PROGRAMME FOR SPECIAL NEED
CHILDREN IN KELANTAN

ABSTRACT

Introduction: Inclusive Education Programme is a programme for children with


educational special needs to learn together with other children. The Implementation of
Inclusive Education Programme on children with special needs is often seen to be a
burden to the teachers. In the way to maintaining effective teaching practices, teachers
are facing challenges in communicating with the children and difficulties in managing
their behaviour. There are teacher’s bias and labelling which hinder the process of
teaching and learning from occurring in a fairly manner. This study was conducted to
examine the factors that influence the effective teaching practices of the Special Needs
children in Inclusive Education Programme in Kelantan. Methodology: This study
used a quantitative approach and analysed using Statistical Package Social Science
version 22. A total of 132 respondents was selected randomly from 152 teachers of
Inclusive Education Programme in Kelantan to answer the questionnaire. This
questionnaire was adapted from the Intrinsic Motivation Inventory and the Effective
Teaching Practice Questionnaire which modified in accordance with the special needs
children condition and had been reviewed by five experts. The analysis used are mean,
standard deviation, sample dependent variable T- test and multiple linear regression.
Findings: The findings had shown that the level of effective teaching practice,
competence level, autonomy level and the level of linkage of Inclusive Education
Programme teachers in Kelantan are high. The findings also found that only 1.5% of
teachers in Kelantan passed the Certificate of Program Intervensi Tambah Option in
the field of special education. The result of T-test showed that there was no difference
in the teaching practice of Inclusive Education Programme in teachers based on
gender factor. The results of the regression analysis pointed out that the influencing
factor that had the highest percentage of effective teaching practices was teachers'
relatedness. In conclusion: The emphasis of providing teachers’ relatedness is
necessary in order to empower the teachers to teach more effectively. The implication
of this study is that it proves that the competence, autonomy and relatedness are able
to describe the intrinsic motivation of teachers involved in the Inclusive Education
Programme. Finally, it is significant to point out that teachers who spend more time
in building meaningful student-teacher relationship are able to maintain effective
teaching practices.
