What I've been up to...
This past week I traveled to
Hilo with my father! We
went to the top of Mauna
Kea (it was so cold!) just in
time for sunset, explored
lava tube caves, and ate the
BEST mochi in the world
from Two Ladies Kitchen!
I've also been seriously
prepping for college!
Although it might not sound
like fun, I've had a blast
researching schools and
learning about what makes
them unique. One college I'm
looking at has an ice-cream
making class, and another
teaches you how to sky-dive!

What I've been up to...
I've been trying to stay
active as much as
possible! Now, I have so
much time to try new
hikes that I never got the
chance to do such as the
Wiliwilinui ridge trail (BTW
the trail has soo much
ʻōhiʻa)!!!
I've also been going surfing
with my dad a lot recently. Its
definitely a process of learning,
but it is so rewarding to be out
in the ocean! I'm enjoying my
summer and trying my best to
spend my time outdoors safely!
Even though this may not have
been how we pictured our
summer, I'm making the best of
it!!

What I've been up to...
I've been helping Kumu Shelby and Kumu
Andy at school! We've been working on
different projects like pulling out invasive
plants, planting native plants, hanging out
with the ducks :) and taking care of the
pu'u.

Another exciting thing

is that although I am
unable to go back to
college in the fall, I
now get to stay home
and take my classes
online.
