with a voting right in the Student Senate.
 Establish and maintain audit system for the SGA.
 Collect and maintain records of money collected at SGA events.
 Provide Treasurer’s reports at the request of the SGA President or Student
Senate.

Ahlul Bayt Student Organization (ABSO) February

 The purpose and aim of this club is to bring all the Shia Youth together
from the Houston Community to mobilize and to live our lives in
accordance with the teachings of the Ahlul Bayt (as) and the Holy Quran.
Also the unity will allow us to better fulfill the goal of spreading the
message of the Ahlul Bayt (as).
 “Who is Hussain” Event happens every year at University of Houston,
which portrays a series of different events, in which we spread the word of

our Imam and how He stood up against oppression and injustice to save the
mankind.
 Player at a Charity Basketball Event, in which a basketball tournament is
held for donation purposes for the people in need throughout Pakistan,
India, or Afghanistan, and other Asian countries.

 The role is to provide pre-medical students with the resources,
opportunities, and support that is fundamental to pursuing a career in
medicine.
 It coordinates and provides community service outreach involvement with
shadowing opportunities, MCAT course, and health fairs for students to
take advantage and proceed their passion toward becoming a successful
medical professional.
 Attend meetings and discussion panels for networking purposes and grow
as an efficient and aspiring leader and as a professional in need for the
healthcare field.
