What area(s) of professionalism is currently your strength?

I pride myself on my punctuality; I am always on time and very rarely miss a day. I have only
missed a small handful of days in my entire schooling and 1 day of work ever. I also try to take initiative
and do more than my competitors. I am a good and active listener and give criticism only when
necessary, and always in a respectful manner.

What area(s) of professionalism is currently your weakness?

I need to work a bit on my appearance in a professional setting. I can also improve on my

general people skills.

How can you improve these weaknesses?

I should figure out a way to make my hair look presentable because it is long, thick, and a little
frizzy right now but I do not want to cut it. I also need to improve my wardrobe for when I get an
internship and professional job.

When it comes to improving my people skills, practice makes perfect. The more I interact with
others, the more comfortable with it I will become. In turn, my people skills will eventually improve.

Why does professionalism in the workplace matter?

Professionalism in the workplace matters in every way. You want people to take you seriously
and look like you care about your job. Additionally, when you look and act professionally, it gives you
confidence so you can ultimately perform your job better.
