Dear families,

Thank you for attending the SHS Parent Orientation last Saturday, July 18.

 Student Orientation
We will be having our student orientation tomorrow, July 21, at 9:00 am. The Zoom
details are as follows:

On this day, students are expected to be at the Zoom meeting 10 minutes before the
orientation. They may login to their respective subjects and view the different lessons and
activities for the day. The first Zoom class meeting for the day will begin at 10:30 am.

 Class Advisers
As mentioned in the parent orientation, there will be no mentoring this year. Students
will be guided by their respective class advisers. The guidance office may also give assistance.

 Zoom meeting links will be sent directly to your child’s email or whatever email you
have provided for DC use. In the event that a student was not able to attend the call, the learner
will be marked absent for that day, Zoom class discussions will not be recorded because of data
privacy.
For students coming from countries with different time zones, please inform your adviser
of your residence so that Zoom calls can be adjusted with respect to time differences.
The rest of the time will be used for the Digital Classrooms lessons and activities.
Students are expected to log on at 9:00 am.

The school is currently applying for a domain name which can be used by students to avail of
free MS Office 365. Please await further announcements on this.
