COURSE OUTCOMES
At the end of the course students should be able to
Demonstrate the mechanism of steady and unsteady heat transfers and extended surfaces.
Analyse internal flow and external flow in forced and natural convection mode of heat transfer
and apply the principles in various applications.
Evaluate the boiling and condensation phase change heat transfer and sizing of heat exchangers.
Compute radiative heat transfer in black body and grey body with effect of shape factor in real
time applications
Appraise the basic concepts of mass transfer
Mapping Course outcomes with Program Outcomes (POs) and Program Specific Outcomes(PSOs)
