(2) The galley assembly is an integrally-bonded structure fabricated from fiberglass-sandwich panels,
aluminum extrusions, and workdeck with bullnose extrusions. The panel joints are made by
"mortise and tenon joints". For the fabrication of fiberglass phenolic/nomex honeycomb panels
refer to SPS-110. The galley design is modular in nature with functional components designated
to specified compartments.
(3) The galley helps for storing and preparing food and beverages served during flight. The galley
also gives miscellaneous storage space for passenger control items, and waste container used
for storage and disposal of foodstuff and unwanted material collected during flight. Removable
serving carts let rapid replenishment of food, beverages and dry stores during pre and post-flight
operations.
