8.2 The student will apply movement principles and concepts and
apply knowledge of major body structures to explain how body
systems interact and respond to physical activity and movement.
a) Explain how body systems interact with one another during
physical activity.
b) Analyze performance in a variety of selected skills/activities
using movement concepts of agility, power, coordination,
reaction time, speed, force, motion, rotation, and energy of self
and partner.
c) Describe effects of exercise/activity on physical movement,
body systems, and brain development.

In this interactive white board activity, the children will touch the board to decide which
picture/answer is correct and learn about F.I.T.T. principal.

This lesson will focus on the F.I.T.T. principal which is Frequency,
Intensity, Time, and Type. Throughout the lesson each principal will be
explained, and exercises for each will be listed. The lesson also
includes multiple opportunities for the students to interact with the
lesson via smart board. Students will be able to come to the board and
answer questions and group items in the correct sections. The effect
of participating in cardiovascular exercise, resistance training and
stretching will also be explained.
