You need someone to handle sales for your young, but promising company.
You've had 3 people interview, but only one of them was worth a second interview.
You feel this person has real potential, so you've brought him/her back to negotiate
a possible starting salary.
You still hope to get this person for as little as possible since you're such a new
company and money is tight, but you must fill this position quickly. In the end, you
may have to offer a substantial starting salary to get him/her on board.
The average starting salary range for this position is around INR 32,000 to 42,000.
To make this more realistic, you can earn up to 10 "value" points, depending on the
outcome of your negotiation:
• If you do not reach any agreement, you receive zero points
• If you settle with a salary of 33,000 or lower, you receive ten points
• If you settle with a salary closer to 35,000, you receive five points
• If you settle with a salary closer to 37,000, you receive four points
• If you settle with a salary closer to 39,000, you receive three points
• If you settle with a salary of 41,000 or higher, you receive two points
