Alternative Process

One of the problems in the poultry house is the unannounced brownout.

Electricity is very needed in the poultry house specially in the time of artificial brooding

the chick needs proper heat in order for them to survive. The project shall purchase

generator to provide electricity. Water interruption will also affect the project since chick

needs water tank for them to drink. The project shall purchase a water tank to stock

water. Another problem is the ill worker is also very much needed to perform their task in

the poultry house. The project will have to call a worker as a substitute to the permanent

ill worker. Lastly, wreck vehicle is also one of the problem or issue in transporting the

product. So the project shall rent a vehicle somewhere in the community for them to

deliver the product safely.

D. Technological assistance
The Food and Drug Administration of the Philippines (formerly called the Bureau of

Food and Drugs) was created under the Department of Health to license, monitor, and

regulate the flow of food, drugs, cosmetics, medical devices, and household hazardous

waste in the Philippines. On this assistance they can surely said that their chicken is safe

and there is no chemicals being added. And also the following are needed in the proposed

poultry production. To ensure that the projected project is totally healthy and clean in

terms of chicken. That are safe to distributed in the market or in the proposed buyer that

they projected.

E. Project Site/ Project Layout

Figure 8 Proposed Project Layout

The proposed project study uses this layout because easy to handle and consume

enough space on this poultry layout. The feed storage is in beside the door of the poultry

because it is easy to put inside the poultry house. The compost pit must be far to the

poultry house because the dead chicken and other chemicals bottle must be place in far

area so that the chicken must not be contaminated, or other disease will not come on the

poultry house. The proposed project office must be place near the poultry house so that

whatever lacking on their production must be reported directly so that they can find way

on the issues and problems comes on their production.

F. Production Schedule
The proposed project volume of production per chicken is sell to be 1.2 kilogram

and every kilogram we sell it Php 120. The proposed project expected 1,710 kilograms

per months on their harvest. Php 205,200 is the estimated sale on their proposed project.

The proposed project assumes that they produce 1425 chickens per 35 days. The total of

their chicken is 1500 subtracted by the 5% death mortality.

The proposed project has a volume of production of 1,710 kilograms per month that is

equivalent to 1425 heads of chicken. The production of chicken. The production of

chicken dung will not be included because the proponents agree to make compost pit for

them to dispose the waste product.

Total of 1,425 kg.

5% of mortality

Cost of chicken

120 per kg. = 171,000

On the first month the business will produce 1,500 the number of heads of chicken, and

every month it increases 10% so that the business will grow as the time pass by. If there

will be 5% of mortality of the chicken. So, 1425 is the total number of chicken produce
after 30 days. 1,425 kilogram of chicken multiplied by the price which is 120 pesos the

total cost of the first month is Php. 171,100.
