Ten Things A Bellman Should Always Be Doing

1. Smile.
2. Carry yourself with pride, (stand when a member/guest is
present).
3. Show enthusiasm.
4. Pick up trash and debris as you go about your duties.
5. Greet every member/guest as they arrive and depart and
those in your vicinity.
6. Maintain the highest standards of hospitality; make it a
priority to meet the needs of members and guest.
7. Insist that you carry all bags no matter the size to the guest
rooms. (Not just at check in but when returning for
shopping trips and etcetera).
8. Announce to the front desk the name of the member/guest
checking in and stand by to escort them to their rooms.
9. When escorting a member/guest to rooms tell them of
services available to them and inform them of the
emergency procedures.
10. Do the right thing even when no one is looking.
