1. ANNEX

The Decal denomination illustrated in Figure 1 are presented in the Annex A.

This Annex A is an Excel file identified as “PE43021 PART NUMBER DATA”, which is
attached together with this Standard file.
This file shall be reviewed formally whenever there are changes.

2. MATERIAL

- Self-adhesive polyester film according to MEP 18-013 type I; and

- Self-adhesive polyester film according to MEP 18-013 type II.

3. REQUIREMENTS

3.1 The colors of the Decal shall be blue nº 15102 and yellow nº 13655 according to
FED-STD-595. See Figure 1.

3.2 Each denomination shall be according to the Annex A.

3.3 The letters shall be black Nº 17038 according to FED-STD-595 with high dimensions
of 2,4 mm (3/32 inch).

3.4 The denomination shall not superimpose the symbols.

3.5 The symbols, according NE 04-020, shall be black Nº 17038 according to

FED-STD-595, with wide dimensions of 4,8 mm (3/16 inch), stamped over a silver or
white colored base, and centered in the space reserved for them. See Figure 1.

3.6 The printing shall be made by Silk-Screen process according to PF 01-025, when
manufacture by Embraer.

3.7 The specified colors for printing shall be obtained through combination of the
polyurethane paints according to MEP 10-084.

3.8 The printing shall be made on the Self-adhesive polyester film type II and covered by
the Self-adhesive polyester film type I. See Item 2.

4. PART NUMBER COMPOSITION

PE43021-X
Where:

“PE43021” is the Basic Part Number.

“X” shall be the code assigned to the Decal denomination, which is identified in
the Annex A.

5. PART NUMBER CREATION AND PRODUCT STRUCTURE

5.1 The responsibility for the part number creation and product structure is defined in
the doc.emb 10286 procedure.

5.2 The Part Numbers shall be created in the Manufactured Items Database, according
to the doc.emb 2687 procedure in the environment of the “0145 – REGIONAL 0145 –
Unclassified” program.

5.3 The Product Structure (PL – Part List) shall be created according to the
doc.emb 2174 procedure and Drawing Note NI 1340 below shall be indicated.

NI 1340 - THE DRAWING OF THIS PN IS SPECIFIED BY MP <4.3.021>.

is of the Program that will use the item.
Part List and this MP Document define the Part Number.

6. AVAILABLE PART NUMBERS

6.1 The Part Numbers are available in the Manufactured Items Database. For
consulting, see doc.emb 2687.

6.2 This MP Document only recognizes the Part Numbers that have been created with
the rules herein defined.

6.3 As the Part Number composition defines clearly the item, its register in this
document is not necessary.

PE43021-1 = Decal for Hydraulic System Line Identification, with English

denomination PUMP SUCTION and Portuguese denomination ASPIRAÇÃO BOMBA.
