Finger Puppet for Year of the Rat

Instructions:
1. Cut out all pieces.
2. Roll half circle into a cone, leaving a small
space at the nose. Secure the cone with
tape.
3. Cut slit above eyes.
4. Fit ears into slit.
5. Push a pipe cleaner through the nose and
curl. Secure pipe cleaner with tape. The

 Eyes Lantern for Year of the Rat
Nose
Directions:
1. Cut out each shape on this page.
2. Cut out the gray rectangle on the
next page along the outer lines.
3. Fold the gray rectangle in half
lengthwise and cut along the inner
lines.
4. Fasten the short edges of the gray
rectangle together to make a
Ears tube. See the site

5. Attach eyes, ears and nose as
shown below.
6. Cut a thin strip of paper to serve
as the handle, and attach as
shown below.
7. Cut a 6-inch length of yarn or
string and glue it between the two
red circles with characters on
them (charms).
8. Attach the string to the bottom of
the lantern so that the charm
hangs from the lantern.
