Data Collection
e.g Creswell (2013) stated that qualitative approaches to data collection, analysis, interpretation, and report writing
differ from the traditional, quantitative approaches. Moreover, Marshall and Rossman (2011) suggested that data collection

method in qualitative research could be categorized into four types: participation in the setting, direct observation, in–
depth interviews and document analysis. In this study, I used direct observations and in–depth interviews during the
collection of the data. Expound the following items by citing studies/works of different
researchers…
As the researcher, I was aware that I would take rigorous steps in the data collection, but with a great desire to
complete the investigation, the following steps were followed:
First, • Trustworthiness
Second, • Credibility
Third, • Transferability
• Dependability
According to Creswell (2009), data and materials used in the study should be stored for 5 years. Creswell (2007) also
suggested that succeeding to the conduct of the study, data must be stored so they can be easily found and protected from • Confirmability
damage or loss. In this study, documented audio and transcriptions were saved in a DVD and were kept safe by the
researcher.
