RE: Application for the position of Mental Health Supervisor.

This is to officially express my interest in the position of Mental Health Supervisor with STRONGMINDS, I was
excited when I came across this opportunity because of the possibility of being able to apply my accrued
supervising skill-set which I was directly doing for one and half years as my clinical psychologist duties. I am
deeply convicted that the skills I have accrued while serving with TPOuganda……………………… that .
Particularly working with different projects UNwomen which was basically extending psychosocial support to
women survivors of Gender based violence and sexual gender based violence. And also had the own to manage and
head a UNICEF project handling child protection.
Some of my responsibilities included but were not limited to: recruiting study participants, supervising a team of
social workers together supporting them in enrolling participants in the projects keenly following the project
documents and procedures of operation which included: awareness raising, clinical assessments, family mediations,
group therapy, community dialogues, selecting tools for clinical assessment, analyzing the data, supervising group
sessions, teaching the filing process, case management and others as seen necessary. These duties and my
educational background in clinical psychology make me a suitable candidate for this position as detailed in my
curriculum vitae. My school has exposed me to vital transferable therapeutic skills like cognitive behavioral
therapy, clinical ethics, analytical skills, reporting skills, minute writing and documentation, customer service skills
relevant to this position. Further, I was working as a quality control and quality assurance officer ensuring
consistent in protocol running, clean and well documented standardized data. Having me as a Mental Health
Supervisor, I believe will fast track the delivery of the organization’s agenda.

I execute my duties with integrity, self-drive, excellence and I have always maintained a customer centric
philosophy in all my work undertakings. I am looking forward for the opportunity of discussing with you further
