We invite you to participate in a research study entitled Online Buying Behaviour of Literate
Consumers We are currently enrolled in the PGDM Program at Goa Institute of Management
and we are in the process of writing our Market Research Project for the Term-4 of our program.
Your participation in this research project is completely voluntary. You may decline altogether,
or leave blank any questions you don’t wish to answer. There are no known risks to participation
beyond those encountered in everyday life. Your responses will remain confidential and
anonymous. Data from this research will be kept under lock and key and reported only as a
collective combined total. No one other than the researchers will know your individual answers
to this questionnaire.

Q4. Do you prefer conventional method of shopping (Retail Stores) to online shopping?
Ans 4. Earlier it was brick and mortar, now it is shifting to online due to better technologies
and better quality of products offered. Then it definitely depends on what my need is.
Q5. Can you describe your first online purchase experience?
Ans 5. My First purchase of was a nike shoe for myntra in 2014, and it was not upto the
mark and I got disappointed.
Q8. What are parameters on which you land on a product while browsing?
Ans 8. First the look (how well it is captured), quality.
Q19. How can distribution channel or delivery service of a particular company affect your
decision?
Ans 19. For me it is quite important, for example if you want to return a product, earlier it would
take days to initiate refund but now the refund comes within 3 hours and besides that it is always
nice to see the products coming before the mentioned date.
Q20. Would you like to visit the brick and mortar stores of these online sites?
Q21. Additional delivery charges can change your decision of buying a product?
Ans 21. Yes, additional delivery charges make me buy extra things. The online sites follow the policy
of free delivery charges after some amount of order. This makes me buy more things as I would
always like to avail free delivery charges.
