Felted Bowls
Notes:
Many variations of the felted bowl can be made. There are three
sizes. It can be made with stripes, a Fair Isle border or in a solid
color. The rim can be a contrasting color. For the samples, we knit
a medium striped bowl, starting with C1 and striping with C2 with
a C3 rim. The Fair Isle version is large and startes with C2 and
the chart is worked in C1 and C2. The Solid version is small and
worked entirely in C1.
Sides
Fair Isle
K 9, (16, 23) rnds, then work Fair Isle Border Chart, repeating
chart around 8 (12, 16) times to end. Move on to Rim.
Striped Bowl
Work Small (Medium, Large) Stripes Chart, repeating chart
around 8 (12, 16) times to end. Move on to Rim.
Solid Color
K 21, (28, 35) rnds. Move on to Rim.

When working charts in the rnd, follow all chart rows from right Rim
to left and from bottom to top. With C3 or desired rim color, knit one rnd.
CO 3 (4, 5) sts at beginning of rnd.
DIRECTIONS Next Rnd: *K2 (3, 4) sts, SSK, pass sts from right-hand needle

Emily Kintigh is an all around creative person who taught herself to knit. She
perfected her skills knitting gifts for her niece and nephew, which quickly made
knits for babies and children her favorite projects to knit and design. Her Etsy
