 Both the Universities are offering basic renewable energy courses as core and electives.

 REE 301 Alternate Renewable Power Sources (2+1), offered as core course by TNAU is not offered by Anna University.
But 20 % syllabus of this course is covered in ORO551 Renewable Energy Sources (open elective).

 REE 401 Photovoltaic Technology and Systems (2+1) and REE 402 Waste and By-products Utilization (2+1) offered as electives by
TNAU are not offered by Anna University. But 20 % syllabus of these courses is included in basic core courses of Anna University.
