ACTIVITY 2
1. In not lesser than three hundred words describe your realization while drawing the map of the
Philippines. Did the activity help you realize the origin of each island? Is this your first time to identify
all the provinces of the Philippines?
At first when I heard about it stresses me because it's my first time to draw a map, and I know
that I'm not really good at it. But still I did my best and yeah I did it. My realization when I finished
drawing the map was, “ang laki pala talga ng Pilipinas” imagine there are 81 provinces in the Philippines,
and they are not close to each other, there are water, that serve as a boundaries between these islands. No
wonder why it really took so much time to travel from Oriental Mindoro to Ilocos, because I remember
when I was in 3rd grade in high school, we travel to Ilocos and took as 10-12 hours to arrive there, because
we are really far from I locus. But it's really worth it. And I also realize that the provinces that I want to
visit was really far from here, so I decided to skip my plans and just save money. Another thing is there
are island like tawi-tawi, sulu, and Palawan that the barangay there are separated by water, “ang liit liit
na nga sila tapos hiwahiwalay pa”. Lastly, that's why we have a lot of tourist attraction in the Philippines,
like the underground river in Palawan, the 100 islands, because the composition or the formation of the
Philippines is different.
Overall, I'm just really amazed about the Philippines, it's island and it's is composition or
formation. And also, I'm quite disappointed with myself because I'm a Filipino but there are a lot of
things, I didn't know about my country like I know the provinces, but I just don’t know were it is located.
And now I'm starting to familiarize it and I'm decided to travel here in my own country rather to visit and
spend money to see other country.
