My Growth Sheet

Reflections
Why do you want to become a better teacher? As you take your priority steps to
growth, it’s good to reflect first on why you want to become a better teacher.

I want to grow into a better teacher because I want to develop a child that has a
passionate love for God, fellow men or others, nature, and country.

Action Steps
Learning Options

 When it comes to work, I am the type of person who get excited to perform
tasks, even when I am still in the process of getting hang of it. In conversations
about learning and professional development, I am the teacher who gets panic
but at the same time saying to myself that “I can and I will.” And when it comes
to daily tasks and challenges, I am the type of teacher of asks to myself “I am
new to this, so how can I learn what I need to learn” and “give me a general goal
and I will see it through. And with this, I come up with the different action steps
to get me there:
 Asking for help whenever I’m having difficulties in the subject matter is one
way to learn more. I would ask for some coaching/mentoring sessions from
my immediate heads to perform my job well.
 Widen my circle so that I can learn from their experiences in improving my
teaching and learning skills.
 Joining organizations, attending conferences and participating in different
seminar and workshops will develop my skills further, broaden my
knowledge and expand the portfolio of my professional experience.
