Tracker - Immunization Program Use Case
● When reviewing the immunization schedule, we can see that there
are various “stages” to the treatment program
● By reviewing the schedule and carefully considering the timeline of
events, we can link each of the individual pieces of information to
its appropriate timeline of treatment
● For example at birth, the child can receive the following
vaccinations

Program Overview - Multiple stage vs. Single stage
Multiple stage:
● Difficult to track if all the set of vaccines for a particular age not given
together
● Issues with data quality and scheduling reminders
Single, repeated stage:
● Single program stage with program rules to define what vaccine is due for
a child based on the age and previous vaccine history
● Improved data quality since only the vaccine due are available for entry
and vaccine cycle is built in through program rules
