Assignment Make-Up Policy
Students will have the ability to make-up any
missing work by following LCMA policy.
Students will be able to retrieve the agendas,
activities and other announcements via the
class website (see above). Students should go
to their grade level, select “weekly agendas”
and then select the month in which the student
was absent. All assignments are neatly
organized per day, per week for easy use.
Course Information
This course will have students work on all four
aspects of language—reading, writing (hand &
typing), listening and speaking—through the use
of diverse literature and learning strategies.

 Colored Pens/Pencils
 Variety of highlighters
 Tablet or Electronic Device*
*Do not take it out unless the teacher advises you to do so.

Students will follow the protocol per KIT, or
Knights-in-Training”. Please refer to the student’s
agenda for a detailed description.
Grading Scale
90%-100%: A
80%-89%: B
70%-79%: C
*60%-69%: D
*0%-59%: F
*Students that fall to a D or F will require for an
urgent parent/teacher conference to discuss the
student’s performance and mechanisms for future
improvement.
