LEARNING AREA : English for Academic and Professional Purposes (EAPP)

 PRELIMINARY ACTIVITIES
Wake up, make up your bed, eat breakfast, freshen up and get ready for an awesome day! Don’t forget to prepare the following:
answer sheets, module, WHLP, and your favorite pen.
Now, find a perfect, comfortable place where you can focus on your studies. Your subject teacher is just one message away if
you need assistance or have questions/clarifications. Check in on your GC or send a private message or simply contact him/her with
the contact number indicated opposite his/her name which can be found in the table of Teachers’ Contact Details in this WHLP. Do this
by introducing yourself and mentioning your section before you politely raise your concern/question/clarification. Also, make sure to
use your real name on your Facebook or email. Be mindful of your time and stay away from distractions while you do your task. Please
be guided accordingly. Happy learning!

 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read this WHLP carefully and strictly follow the instructions given in the learning tasks column. If you have questions or
clarifications about the lesson/s or if there are learning tasks you find difficult to understand, do not hesitate to communicate
your concerns to your subject teacher.
2. You may use intermediate pad papers, yellow pad papers, bond papers of any size, or any other materials as indicated.
Maximize the space on your activity/answer sheets.

clean, and organized.
7. Only the required outputs (Performance Tasks and Written Work) must be submitted to your teacher. Check the list on the
table of required outputs for your reference.
8. For students who submit outputs in school, place your outputs in the proper drop box allotted to your subject teacher. Check
the name of the teacher and the subject indicated on the cover of the drop box.
9. Securing a copy of your outputs by taking photos is highly encouraged so that you have a file to present in case your outputs
will be misplaced.
10. Schedule of submission of outputs in school and in the designated kiosks is every Monday and Tuesday. However, those who
prefer to submit online may do so as soon as you are done. Follow your teacher’s instructions on how to submit online.
