2nd Grade Parent Letter

Welcome to 2nd Grade!
Second Grade is an exciting year of growth and achievement and it builds
upon the important skills children have previously attained. We understand
the importance of fostering a positive classroom environment and developing
a rapport with students and parents alike. As we partner together, we will
make certain that all students succeed.

In this letter, you will find important information that will help your child be
successful this school year. Please read the information carefully.

For this school year, second-grade students will be departmentalizing and


have a specific teacher who will teach a particular subject.
