Class Dojo: I will send out constant updates, reminders, upcoming events, personal messages, photos and
videos of what your child is working on in class through our class dojo account!
Class Website: Curriculum information and resources.
Google Classroom: Google Classroom will be available on student iPads. Google Classroom will be used to
manage student work such as viewing and submitting assignments.

Math
Throughout the year we will be using our “Ready Math”
curriculum. Students will have math workbooks as well as online
account access. I will be sending home parent letters at the start
of each new math lesson that will explain the objectives we will be
focusing on. Attached to each letter you will also find fun
activities you can work on with your child at home! We will also
be offering math RTI support for students to focus on their
individual needs.
Daily Parent Involvement:

Other Ways to Stay Involved:
❖ Attend PTO meetings and conferences.
❖ Practice weekly math skills with your child at

Parent/Guardian Pick-Up Policy
If students need to leave school during the day for any reason,
families need to go to the front door, be wearing a mask and
speak to staff through the buzzer system.
Visitor Policy
Limited visitors will be allowed during this time. Parents and
guardians will not be allowed to have lunch with their chil and
we will not be able to hold any large events, such as
Grandparent’s Day.
3rd Students Entering/Exiting the Building
Use door 3 (nearest to the 3rd grade hall on 5th street)
Lincoln School Technology
Every student will have their own iPad for school use. Once
they have been taught how to use and care for the device
they will begin taking it back and forth from school to home.
All teachers will use Google Classroom to manage student
work.
Cell Phones
Phones need to be left in lockers or backpacks. Any student
not using technology appropriately will lose their privileges.
Science
During science we will be utilizing the
“Mystery Science” program. In
addition, we will also be conducting
various experiments and completing
STEM activities. I may request items
to be donated throughout the school
year to help fund our experiments!
Birthdays
Students are welcome to bring in individually
wrapped store bought treats for the class if they
desire.
Snacks/Water Bottles
Both AM and PM students are welcome to bring
their own healthy snack each day. The drinking
fountains will be turned off this year so your child
may bring a water bottle (labeled with their first and
last name) to class. These should be brought home
daily.
