Classroom Library

As a school we work hard to ensure our students have a variety of high

interest text available to them that are age and grade appropriate. Book
choices were made on the considerations of student interest, reading
levels, age, and grade appropriateness. It was not based on the political,
religious, or cultural preferences unique to each family. While we respect
each family’s choice on what they want to expose or protect their child
from, that is ultimately a parent or guardian’s responsibility. Please
discuss these restrictions and preferences with your child. Teachers How to Contact Me:
should be informed as well so we can help guide your child in making book
choices you are comfortable with. Students can check out books, but
mmartinez@ssttx.org
they have two weeks to return the book or recheck it out. If a book is
lost, the student is responsible for the replacement. 210-543-1111
