Restaurant review

Restaurant reviews are written to give an opinion on a dining experience.

Read the following two reviews, written by Zoe Williams for The Telegraph
newspaper. One review is for ‘The Pig’ in Brockenhurst which scored four stars;
the other is for ‘Busaba Eathai’ at Bicester Village which scored one star. Complete the table
with examples of the features and writing techniques used, some of which are common to both.

Task

Now write a review for a restaurant you have visited, or make one up! You must decide whether
to give your restaurant a good or a bad review. Use a similar structure and similar techniques to
the ones you have analysed in your own review.
