Improving Online Education
Online education has become the safest for students due to the COVID-19
pandemic. As an Online Educator, it necessitates different approaches from the
traditional classroom set-up. Online Educators should adapt or advance their abilities to
the “New Normal” educational set-up. Making teaching materials effective and
engaging for our students in SPCF. The ACAP Center suggests these techniques to
increase online learning and make SPCF blended - learning a fruitful experience to
ensure efficient education that the ACAP Center holds priority in these conditions.

Engaging online with students

Physical presence does not exist in our new online education platform and it’s
dynamic to create a virtual manifestation in every online class. Online Educators must
engage students from the very beginning to sustain an active learning environment. By
creating a creative and innovative presence, students will understand that you
perceptible and always available to their needs. The ACAP Center suggests online
education to be a welcoming and warm experience in an online class as you would in
any traditional classroom.

Inform students days or timeframes when you are available online and how to
communicate with you for a reassuring set-up just as the ACAP Center implements to
all students. Create an online learning strategy through posts, forums or social media
and when parents realize that SPCF is giving time into educational discussions they will
encourage their children more to participate. The ACAP Center has psychological
research to support this strategic engagement. This will also be a catalyst to improve
professional connections with SPCF students creating their experience more personal
and notable.

Creating A Caring Culture Environment

Online educators have openings to generate a supportive online culture for

SPCF students. To attain this is by inspiring both teacher-student engagement and
student-student interaction.

Author of A Faculty Guide for Moving Teaching and Learning to the Web, Dr Judith
V. Boettcher, PhD recommends these stratagems:

1. At the start of your online course, get the ball rolling with a personal introduction
post, and encourage participants to contribute their own short bio or introduction
to the group.
2. Create an open forum or discussion board where learners can post to request
help and assistance from each other, developing peer-to-peer support.
3. Set up small groups, similar to traditional study groups, for supportive mentoring
of fellow learners.

These stratagems will inspire SPCF students to learn as an active class and profits
Online Educators, Online Students and SPCF Student services as well.

An Amalgamation Of Online Learning Apparatus For Engagement

The ACAP Center acknowledges that technologies establishes virtual learning

classrooms and permit educators to cooperate and involve with almost the same as
being physically present in the classroom. Dr Boettche says, “the variety of activities
that are now possible online makes it possible to create many types of effective learning
environments.”

Efficient online educators utilize a mixture of synchronous and asynchronous

actions, creating a combination of old-style strategies with updated collective audio and
visual tools. Teaching with a combination of activities creates a more psychodynamic
approach to the content resulting to a more interesting and exciting online educational
experience.

Provide Continual Constructive Feedback

The ACAP Center emphasizes that constructive feedback is an indispensable

constituent of all operational learning situations and is much-needed in online
education. As an online educator, constructive feedback will support to generate an
online learning experience which is instructive, engaging, and motivational for SPCF
students. Feedback should be incessant through the online process and appreciation

accessible instantly for SPCF students to identify which behaviour’s and abilities are to
change or improve. The ACAP Center suggests a group feedback through collective
exercises that supports student engagement.

Mobile Online Learning Content

The ACAP Center believes that mobile learning for online educators with SPCF
students and employees are now habituated in using their mobile devices for education.
Let SPCF utilize this medium for our online education. Mobile educational learning
grasps advantages for SPCF students and granting them access to updated learning
materials and applicable information anywhere, anytime. Information bits and pieces
obtainable to be assimilated swiftly and easily, SPCF students, including the
elementary department, can work with educational materials at their own time,
supplementing both routine and output. Just ensure that the online content is accessed
via smartphones, laptops, and iPads to make best use of your teaching techniques. This
also establishes an introduction to student research and the ACAP Center
acknowledges the fact that research is one way to motivate student learning
responsibility and beneficial behaviour students.

The ACAP Center suggests these approaches to establish a more effective

online educational system. Create a more constructive and collaborative online learning
environment SPCF students from elementary to college.
