Detailed Lesson Plan in Consumer Electronic Servicing

I. Objectives: At the end of the session, learners are expected to:

A. Identify the name and the use of electronic tools, materials and test instruments that
in line in repairing and maintaining electronically controlled appliance.

B. Value the proper maintenance of hand tools and equipment.

II. Subject Matter:

A. Topic: Basic Tools, Materials and Equipment in Maintaining and Repairing


Electronically Controlled Appliance.

Visual aide, video how skilled electronic technician uses different kind of tools,

B. Development of the Lesson:

1. Presentation: (5minutes)

*This afternoon we will discussed the basic tools,


materials and equipment in maintaining
electronically controlled appliance.

*Basic electronic tools, materials and equipment are


very important in Maintaining and repairing
electronically controlled appliance as well as
becoming familiar with their uses. Why class?
*Because, without the aid of the tools materials and
equipment we cannot perform our task, like repairing
electronic appliance. And you should also be familiar
with their function and uses, so that your work would
be faster, easy and accurately.

*in addition class, it is important also that you have


to use the tools according to their uses to avoid
accident and to avoid the tools being damage.

*As a consumer electronic servicing student, it is


important also that you should know how to take
care and maintain the durability of your tools and
equipment so that they are readily available and
function properly.

*what are the things that you have to do to


maintain the durability of your tools and
equipment? 1. Use the tools and equipment according to their uses.
2. Keep them lubricated with a light film of oil to avoid
rust.
3. Keep the tool clean and sharp.
4. Always put the tools in the tool box when not in use.
5. Always switch off the equipment after using.

2. Performing Activities: (15 minutes)

*Now, since you are now familiar with the tools,


material and equipment according to their uses and
function. I will group you into three. I want you to
count 1 to 3 and it will start from left to right until all
of you will be counted. Ok! All number 1 will stay at
the left side, then all number two will stay at the
center and all number 3 will stay at the right side.

activity. But before we start with our activity, what
