Explaining Technique

I. Standard Competence
To apply the concepts of electricity in various problem solvings and products of
technology.
Menerapkan konsep kelistrikan dalam berbagai penyelesaian masalah dan
berbagai produk teknologi.

II. Basic Competence

To use electricity measuring tools.
Menggunakan alat ukur listrik.

III. Indicator
Students able to use amperemeter, voltmeter and ohmmeter to measure electrical
quantities of a simple loop.

IV. Goal
Student should be able to relate pitch of a sound wave to its frequency and loudness
to its frequency.

V. Learning materials
Electricity measuring tools

There are three basic quantities we can measure; Voltage, Current, and Resistance.
To measure each of these quantities we need different measuring tools; for voltage
we use voltmeter, for current we use amperemeter, and for resistance we use
ohmmeter. But nowadays these tools is embedded into one tool called Multimeter.

To measure current we have to set amperemeter in series with the circuit, but to
measure voltage and resistance we can just attach the probe parallelly with the
components we want to measure.
