I. Objectives
At the end of the discussion, the students should be able:
a. to memorize the process of using measuring with electronic instruments
b. to demonstrate the proper measuring with electronic instruments
III. Procedure
A. Preparation
a. Motivation
The teacher will facilitate a viewing activity where students will watch a video
on the use of electronic measuring instruments. They will be tasked to
evaluate the performance of the apprentice they watched.

Such devices contain an electronic oscillator, a circuit that is capable of creating a
repetitive waveform. These are typically used in simple electronics repair and
design; where they are used to stimulate a circuit under test.
Oscilloscope and signal generator should be given regular checkup for at least
once a week by connecting them to the power line. This will help prevent their
components from having moisture that might cause trouble in their circuits.
In any activity involving skills, it is a standard procedure that you must always
use the right tool or equipment properly that would fit in a particular task. In spite
of this reminder or caution, some students abuse the use of tools and still practice
the following common faults that must NOT be done.
C. Generalization
The teacher will summarize the entire lesson and will give emphasis on the
different electronic measuring instruments.
D. Application
a. Individual: The students will be answering a written formative assessment.

b. By Partner: The class will be divided into 15 pairs. They will be
demonstrating and evaluating each other’s performance on the use of any
electronic measuring instrument.
IV. Evaluation
The students will be answering a 10-itemed short test and a 10-point essay for 1 hour.
Part 1:
Part 2:
Answer the question: Why do you need to maintain the measuring electronic
instruments? Explain elaborately using 10 sentences.
V. Assignment
Using a video recording platform, students will be recording themselves presenting
how to use an electronic measuring instrument of their choice. It must be in 2-3
minutes only.
