What is Analytical Exposition text ?

Dalam bahasa inggris, analytical exposition is a kind of text that present one side of the issue in a form of
argument. 
Dengan kata lain, analytical exposition merupakan sebuah text tentang eksposisi yang memaparkan atau
menjelaskan pendapat penulis akan suatu hal yang terjadi.

Generic Structure of Analytical Exposition

1. Thesis
Berisi pendapat penulis atau pembicara terkait topik yang dipermasalahkan.

2. Arguments
Arguments berisi tentang pendapat-pendapat yang mendukung ide pokok. Semakin banyak pendapat
yang dituliskan, maka sebuah Analytical Exposition Text semakin menarik karena pembaca atau
pendengar cenderung percaya terhadap suatu peristiwa jika terdapat banyak pendapat yang mendukung
di dalamnya.
3. Conclusion
Berisi tentang kesimpulan atau pernyataan ulang atas inti dari ide yang disampaikan.

Contoh Analytical Exposition Text

Breakfast is the most essential meal of the dat. It provides the body and brain with fuel after an
overnight fast. If you go to school without breakfast, it is like trying to start a motorcycle with no gas.
Students need a lot of energy to do many activities during school hour. It should be a government
concern to provide a meal for students every morning.
Usa, Sweden, UK Finland, and Estonia are some countries that are concerned about breakfast
programs for school students. In the UK a policy Provides free school meals to the poorest children of
ages 4 to 7 years old and it was expanded to reach 1.9 million in 2014. Free school meal are also
provided in Sweden, Finland and Estonia. In some states in the USA, the program is free for poor
families.
The brains need energy to work at its best so by providing breakfast every student will have the
same opportunities to improve memory and concentration levels.

Generic Structure
1. Orientation (Introduction)
It is the opening paragraph, gives the readers the background information of the person.
Biasanya berisi tentang biodata yang dinarasikan seperti nama lengkap, tempat dan tanggal lahir.
Beberapa informasi umum juga dapat disajikan pada bagian ini sebagai pengenalan tokoh.

2. Events
In events, should be in chronological order.
Tahap ini adalah bagian kejadian atau peristiwa yang dialami oleh tokoh. Berisi penjelasan suatu cerita
baik itu berupa pemecahan masalah, proses berkarir, dan berbagai peristiwa yang pernah dialami oleh
tokoh hingga mengantarkannya pada sebuah kesuksesan.  

3. Re-Orientation (Closing)
It consists of a conclusion or comment or the writer. Tell about the achievement or the contribution of the
person.
Pada penutup, bagian ini berisi tentang pandangan penulis kepada tokoh yang dikisahkan. Reorentasi ini
bersifat pilihan yang berarti penulis bisa memberikan pandangan pribadinya tentang tokoh yang
 diceritakan atau penulis tidak memberikan pandangan pribadinya terhadap tokoh yang diceritakan adalah
bukan perkara yang penting.

Biography of Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was born near the end of the 1800s in Ulf, Germany. He graduated from the University of
Zurich in Switzerland at age 26. That was also when he did his famous work in physics. Fourteen years later
he won the Nobel Prize for Physics.
For the next ten years he lived in Germany and traveled a lot to talk to other scientists. Then in the early 1930s
he had to leave Germany because of Hitler and the Nazi party. He moved to the United States. From that time
until his death he lived in Princeton, New Jersey. He died at the age of 74.
