 Definition of exposition text

Is a writing that is persuasive and seeks to find the readers or liateners. This paper usually
contains imfortant issues that are currently being discussed.Exposition text is used to
express opinions about a problem by presenting arguments or supporters in tge form of
evidence,examples,and logical reasons,so that it can increase the knowledge and insight of
the reader.so it can be said that the exposition text is an open writing that can produce pros
and cons for the author.
 Exposition text aims to explain, explain,
convey information. teach and explain
Purpose of something without being accompanied by

 Structure of exposition text
1.Thesis (thesis) is an opening essay that contains the author's point of view on the topic of
discussion / a problem that is written in a simple way. This section is an introduction to
the main idea. This thesis contains the theory being discussed or an analysis result that
will later be strengthened by the argument. The thesis is always in the first paragraph.
2.Arguments are reasons that are supported by strong and consistent evidence in order to
strengthen arguments in the form of expert opinions, research
results, or statements based on credible references. Usually in an exposition text there are
at least two arguments. the number of arguments presented, the more the thesis that is
carried by an author.
3.​Restatement of thesis is the final part that concludes the paragraph and reaffirms the
thesis and argumentation. It is also a closing part which is always located at the end of
the paragraph and contains rewriting or repositioning the main idea of ​the rule
contained in the first paragraph.
 The characteristic of exposition

 Types of exposition text
1. Definition exposition, The type of definition exposition text will explain the
definition or
understanding of a particular topic.
2. Process exposition, The process exposition text will contain the stages or
ways to do something from beginning to end.
3. Illustration exposition ,The type of illustrative exposition text provides a
simple description or explanation of a topic with other topics that have similar
characteristics or similarities.
4. Exposition of opposites, The text of the exposition of the contradiction
contains the contradiction of one thing with another.
5. Report exposition, The text of the report exposition will provide a report of
a particular event or research.
6. Comparative exposition, This type of exposition text contains the main idea
 1.Using technical words or terminology related to the topic being
discussed. Examples include illegal logging, protected forests, the
forestry sector, and so on.
2. Using words that show the relationship of the argument. For example,
Language rules cause, if, because, consequently, thus, therefore.
3. Can also use words that express chronological relationships (adverbs of
of exposition time) or words that express comparisons or contradictions such as at
the end, but before that, then, on the other hand, are different things.

nutritional intake consumed. Unhealthy food or fast food is the easiest daily menu to find.Then
did you know that eating fast food can trigger various diseases? Malnutrition in the long term
can inhibit growth and metabolism. Therefore, start switching to foods with balanced nutrition.

 Makanan sehat
Tesis:Makan menjadi kebutuhan pokok yang harus dipenuhi oleh manusia. Untuk bisa
bertahan hidup, setiap orang harus mengonsumsi makanan dan minuman secara rutin.
Secara ilmiah, tubuh manusia membutuhkan gizi seimbang untuk dapat melakukan proses
metabolisme.Tak cuma itu, makanan diubah menjadi energi dalam tubuh agar bisa
melakukan berbagai aktivitas

Argumentasi:Memenuhi kebutuhan gizi sebenarnya tak sulit. Berbagai bahan makanan

bergizi bisa didapatkan dengan mudah di sekeliling kita. Misalnya mengonsumsi sumber
protein dan karbohidrat sederhana seperti tempe dan tahu. Dalam praktiknya, kita sering
kali tak memperhatikan asupan gizi yang dikonsumsi. Makanan tak sehat atau fast food jadi
menu sehari-hari yang paling mudah ditemukan.Lalu tahukah kamu kalau mengonsumsi
fast food bisa memicu beragam penyakit? Malnutrisi dalam jangka panjang dapat
menghambat pertumbuhan serta metabolisme. Oleh sebab itu, mulailah beralih ke makanan
dengan gizi seimbang. Temukan sumber makanan sehat sederhana yang sesuai dengan
budget bulanan

Penegasan ulang:Jadi, ubah pola makan tak sehat ke arah lebih baik. Tak perlu muluk-
muluk memilih makanan sehat berharga mahal, kita bisa membuatnya sendiri di rumah.
