Naran Hunza & Khunjrab Pass Tour

Hunza Valley is one of the most popular destinations in Pakistan among tourists, photographers and
painters. The valley offers extremely different panorama in different seasons. Summer is green and
spring is white while in autumn, the whole valley turns into red, yellow and orange. Rakaphshi at 7788
meters dominates the whole panorama while travelling on Karakoram Highway alongwith Indus &
Hunza rivers is a memorable journey

Day 1:
Meet & Greet at Rehman Group of Travels (RGT) Blue Area, Islamabad and depart for Naran.
Enroute stopover at Mansehra/Balakot and enjoy the scenic view of Balakot.
Stopover at Kiwai waterfall. Kiwai is a beautiful small village. Tourists can eat and relax at the Kiwai
waterfall hotel.
Arrive at Naran. Naran is the place that is surrounded by lush green mountains, waterfalls, forests,
landscapes and it is a treat for nature lovers who spend time in the greenery and relax their mind
and soul.
Reached Naran in the afternoon and stayed in a hotel.
In the evening visit Naran bazaar. Many shops and hotels are located in Naran Bazar.
Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2:
Next morning, after breakfast, depart for Gilgit.
Enroute stopover at Besal. Besal is a small hamlet located in Kaghan Valley, Mansehra District of
KPK. It is adjacent to the Kunhar River, about 45km north of Naran.
It is the starting point for hiking trails like Dudipatsar Trail.
Dudipatsar Trail is the favorite trail for hikers and not very difficult.
Visit Lulusar Lake. Lulusar Lake is a group of mountain peaks. The view of the lake is striking and
magnificent.
From Lulusar Lake visit Babusar top. It is the highest point in Kaghan valley and can be easily
accessible via car. Babusar Pass connects Gilgit Baltistan.
After Lulusar Lake we visit Nanga Parbat aka “Killer Mountain” is the 9th highest mountain in the
world.
Check in Gilgit hotel for Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 3:
After breakfast visit NLI bazaar of Gilgit.
Arrive to Rakaposhi (View Point near Gulmit Nagar). Rakaposhi is located in the Nagar valley. Its
view is breathtaking.
 From Rakaposhi view point visit Baltit Fort.
The Baltit fort is an inspiration of the princess of Baltistan who had married the Mir of Hunza.
The architecture of Baltit Fort is very unique.
In the evening we arrive at Attabad Lake.
Pakistan’s largest artificial lake is Attabad Lake. Enjoy boating in Attabad Lake.
Dinner & Overnight stay at Attabad lake hotel.

Day 4:
After breakfast, proceed to our next destination that is Khunjerab pass. Weather of Khunjerab Pass
is too chilly so wear some jackets and woolen clothes.
Khunjerab Pass is the border between Pakistan and China. It’s a marvelous place with striking
mountains and sceneries.
Enroute stopover at Passu village, Passu Glacier, Passu cones.
A shortstop at Sost.
Drive back to Attabad Lake hotel for Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 5:
After breakfast start journey towards Batakundi which is a small beautiful town.
Arrive Batakundi and check in Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6:
After breakfast start the journey towards home.
On the way stop over in Naran for 3 hours to visit Saiful Muluk Lake (Optional).
Saiful Muluk is a heavenly place and a beautiful turquoise color lake.
A fairy tale called Saif-ul-Malook, written by the Sufi poet tells the story of the prince of Persia who
fell in love with a fairy princess at the lake.
Depart for Islamabad stop over at Balakot River. Balakot is one of the main towns of Mansehra
District. The beauty of the town is appealing.
And then we safely reached to Islamabad.
