UNIT 1 TEST

SPEAKING PAPER

TIME: 1−2 MINUTES


Teacher: Ask the student ONE question from EACH part of the test – 5 questions in total. Mark each
part out of 5 (refer to the Teacher’s Guide for help). Total the student’s marks at the end and divide by
2.5 to give their final mark out of 10.

For each part (1–5), once the student has spoken one or two sentences, move on.

Important: Ask students to use full sentences and not just give yes/no answers.

Part 1 (Grammar 1, page 13)


Teacher: Ask the student ONE of these questions, A, B or C.
