RE: Data Analyst

In exercising the implementation of WHO's responsibility of universal health coverage, 
there are needs for all Hands on desk in helping Nigeria in her response to the COVID-19 
Pandemic. That calls for expertise in, data capture and analyses in the management of 
this pandemic and progress monitoring at all levels.

I (as the CEO of the organisation I represents; Waleson Medical Limited) am ready to 
give in as much inputs as practically practicable in data analysis. I am theoretically 
versed in data handlings, be it descriptive, diagnostic, predictive or prescriptive. I am in 
possession world class certification (s) in   Laboratory Informatics (CDC) and Web Data 
Analytics (Accenture) that would be of immense usages to the duties assigned; Under 
the guidance of the WHE Laboratory,

 • Supporting the NCDC NRL to develop and maintain required databases.

• Conducting timely analysis and reporting of data.

• Improving data quality through routine monitoring.

• Improving data use and feedback of data to key stakeholders and reporting sources.

• Ensuring that data generated is properly managed and analyzed to facilitate 
data-driven decision making.

• Designing data collection instruments and databases as needed.

• Training state level laboratory data collectors on data collection and electronic data 
entry.

• Regularly analyzing collected data and providing feedback to state level users.

I am a trained Physician with wealth - of - knowledge in Statistics, Data collection, 
processing and reporting in a way that drives decision making towards equitable Policy 
and Health Systems Strengthening.
Within the last decade, I have acquired useful Data Analysis skills through various 
university and NGO statistical presentations for various purposes; Benchmarking, 
Segmentation and Web Analytics to mention few. All these are going to be  driving 
forces in carrying out the data analysis for a better health policy for all.

I have acquired substantial trainings in  public health surveillance /monitoring and 
evaluation system and Laboratory management systems LIMS. As well as theoretical 
experience in GIS Map analysis ARC GIS, QGIS, Health Mapper, STATA, MathLab, SPSS, 
CSPRO and Epi Info, these knowledge and virtual skills would also go a long way 
analysing data in mapping a strategic decision making towards 'One Health'.

DHIS2 platform background information, good understanding of; Laboratory 
Management Systems (LIMS; Specimen and Results networking, qualitatively), data 
compilation and management and data analysis are embedded within skills I recently 
acquired, assets to the stakeholders in systemic integration with public health 
surveillance systems for quality outcomes.

Producing results, fostering integration and teamwork while ensuring effective use of  
resources are my watch words. Also are credible and efficient communication that 
pivots health systems strengthening.

My knowledge and skills in public health, health systems, policy dialogue, financial 
management and accountability will be blended with the expertise gained in promoting 
health systems strengthening to enhance my work.

I have  cumulative ability to embrace and model the core values of the organization I 
represent in my day-to-day behaviour and decision-making with conscious attention and 
sensitivity to wider organizational priorities and perspectives.
